The Morris County Conservation District conducts a Continuous Sign-Up to accept requests for State Cost-Share assistance!
Anyone interested in receiving cost-share assistance from either the Water Resources Cost-Share Program (WRCSP) or the Non-Point Source Program (NPS) Program must sign up.

Approximately 250 people were in attendance of the Morris County Conservation District’s 72nd Annual Meeting on Saturday, January 28, 2012, 6:30 p.m., at the Morris County Community Center! Larry Buss, Pastor for the Council Grove United Methodist, gave the invocation and led the Soil and Water Stewardship Litany; and a Bacon Ham/Fried Chicken/Smothered Steak/BBQ Beef Brisket Dinner was served by Ricky’s Café of Hanover.
The program consisted of: Student & Photography Awards; Windbreak, Grassland, and the Kansas Banker Awards. An election of two Supervisors was held with Kent L. Bacon and Cynthia J. Engle re-elected for three year terms.
Door prizes were held for students and adults. Trenton Blythe was presented the 4thAnnual District Educational Scholarship for $500 and gave a brief discussion on being a member of the White City Tree Huggers Envirothon Team.
Entertainment consisted of a PowerPoint presentation by Kelly Lenz – AM 580 WIBW Radio on “Enchanting Ireland with Agricultural Highlights.”
